It was reported that David Whitmer had seen the stone box from which the plates were removed.
Três vezes [David Whitmer] tem estado no Monte Cumora e viu o caixão que continha os comprimidos e seerstone. Eventualmente, o caixão foi levado até o pé do morro, mas era para ser visto quando ele visitou pela última vez o lugar histórico.[1]
