thirty-five words at the end of Alma 32:30 in the original manuscript were ommited in previous versions of the Book of Mormon. The text was restored in the 1981 edition of the Book of Mormon[1]
This is similar to the errors that were made by some translators and scribes of the Bible. Most likely the typesetter mistankenly missed those words.

1830 edition of the Book of Mormon:
[Alma 32:30] But behold, as the seed swelleth, and sprouteth, and beginneth to grow, and then ye must needs say, That the seed is good; for behold it swelleth, and sprouteth, and beginneth to grow. [Alma 32:31] And now behold, are ye sure that this is a good seed? I say unto you, Yea; for every seed bringeth forth unto its own likeness [2]
1981 edition of the Book of Mormon:
30 But behold, as the seed swelleth, and sprouteth, and beginneth to grow, then you must needs say that the seed is good; for behold it swelleth, and sprouteth, and beginneth to grow. And now, behold, will not this strengthen your faith? Yea, it will strengthen your faith: for ye will say I know that this is a good seed; for behold it sprouteth and beginneth to grow. 31 And now, behold, are ye sure that this is a good seed? I say unto you, Yea; for every seed bringeth forth unto its own likeness. [3]
